Role overview
Network and Computer Systems Administrators in this role are responsible for maintaining secure, high-availability enterprise infrastructure that supports production systems and AI training workloads. What you’ll actually be doing
- Administer and maintain enterprise networks, servers, and system configurations across Windows and Linux environments
- Manage compute infrastructure supporting AI training and high-performance workloads
- Perform regular backups and oversee disaster recovery procedures
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network incidents with minimal downtime
- Configure and maintain email systems, endpoint protection, and remote monitoring tools
- Monitor system and network performance using master consoles and diagnostic platforms
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Bash, and Unix shell scripting
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure solutions

Technical background
- Several years of experience in network and systems administration
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Hands-on experience with Amazon EC2, ServiceNow, Blackboard, Apache Kafka, and Apache Maven
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, and Unix shell scripting for automation
- Experience with Transact-SQL and database querying
- Deep familiarity with monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Nagios, Quest Foglight, and Wireshark
- Working knowledge of Apache Tomcat, Django, ASP.NET, and Node.js
- Certifications in networking, systems, or cloud technologies are advantageous
- Experience supporting AI or machine learning infrastructure environments is preferred
